This past Sunday the worship team had a going away party for Julie Anne, Erick & Zach. There were approximately 40 worship team members who came out to say goodbye and wish them luck at college! Julie Anne Osterhus only has 1 week left with us here until she leaves for Liberty University!! She has been an amazing Godly woman that I’m sad to see leaving! Our Surge band will be playing on 7/31 & 8/1 weekend and giving testimonies. It will be the weekend after the teens return from camp, so they will be pumped up and on fire! Make sure to make it a priority to be there to support the kids!!
One of the things that unites our church in spite of multiple service times and locations is shared teaching. In fact, each week an uplifting, biblical message is shared by 2 or more teachers in one of our 13 worship services.
Our regular teachers include Guy Melton and Pat Roberts. Each of these experienced pastors brings a unique perspective as they apply biblical wisdom to culturally and personally relevant topics.
At any given time there are 6 or more worship leaders as well as dozens of musicians and singers leading us in praise and worship. Chris Hughes, our Worship Pastor, develops the gifts and abilities of the people who want to serve our church and worship Jesus Christ through their musical talent.
The creative team helps to bring the message to life through the arts. Stage décor, dramas, video clips, and printed materials are among some of the many ways this team involves all the senses in the learning experience. Pat Roberts leads a team of artists and volunteers expressing their gifts through the creative process.
Revolution is a new ministry focused on engaging people from our church and from the surrounding community in the arts. Ten-week classes include cooking, dance, acting, and music. Check out their website!
