The Church Office received the following prayer update from our Missionaries to Peru, Rudy & Lorraine Johnson. You will see they celebrated the 50th anniversary of their missionary service on July 6. So, I went to drop off Julie Anne to our sister church IBB, five minutes down the road on a Friday. I came back two days later only to pray over the teams as they prepared to leave. They had set aside that weekend for some intense training to practice their dramas and everything else needed to make the trip successful.

We believe that as a church, we should be fulfilling the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
This is the mission of our church and our lives as Christians. Whether you’re feeding the homeless, on a mission trip to a foreign country or just sharing your faith with a friend, our lives should always be on mission.
As a church, we support many missionaries that are out pursuing the Great Commission.
